tito ortizJacob Christopher Ortiz born on 23 January 25th, 1975) is an American mixed-martial artist and politician. He is currently an official Combate Americas promotee. Ortiz is most famous for his work with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and as an former Light Heavyweight Champion from April 14, 2000 through September 26 2003, he was a holder of this title from September 26, 2003 to September 14 in 2003. He was among the early stars of the sport together with Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell. Ortiz ultimately became the biggest pay-perview draw in 2006 for his fights against Liddell, Forrest Griffin, and Ken Shamrock Ortiz is the chief executive officer of Punishment Athletics MMA equipment and clothing line. The company is located in his hometown of Huntington Beach, California.
