Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. She is most well-known as the anchorperson of the CNN's At This Hour morning show. Earlier she co-anchored the CNN on weekdays mornings New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of CNN's award-winning coverage of the presidential election 2012 and the 2016 presidential election. Bolduan worked as a correspondent from Washington, DC who covered the activities of both the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan's reports on the activities of Congress and events during her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiation to increase the debt ceiling for the United States and debates by the supercommittee. Her general assignment work has included stories on The Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. In 2007 she joined CNN as a correspondent for the national for CNN Newsource. She was the CNN Newsource national correspondent, offering breaking news and feature reports to over 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations. The stations she worked for were NBC News, MSNBC, as well as WTVD-TV. She lives in New York City, with her husband and two children.
