Sharp was a student of clarinet, keyboard as well as cello at the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester. After gaining a scholarship at The Boston Conservatory because of her love for theater in schools Sharp applied for The Boston Conservatory. Cum Laude, where she received an B.F.A. Sharp started her professional career in the stage world after graduation from the Conservatory. Sharp played in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other theatre productions include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp read alongside writer August Wilson himself. Apart from her roles both on stage and the screen, Sharp has several other unique projects she has written or co-written. Sharp performs and is currently working on a full length album. When she's not working either front of or behind the camera, or recording in the studio music, Sharp has a love of fitness. She is always fitness classes and learning Krav Maga.. She likes piano as well as well as long, arduous journeys. Sharp has a family home located in Los Angeles.
