Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, a Canadian-American singer and songwriter. More than 20 albums have been made available by her. Her songs are classified by the label as folk and alternative rock. But, they incorporate elements of hip-hop, jazz, and punk. Ani Difranco is believed as a feminist icon as well as a Grammy award winner. In the beginning, as one of the women's first artists of the 90s, she founded her record label. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd, 1970. She was the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco The couple had been in contact while at an institution called the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father is Italian origin, while her mother comes from Montreal. 32 Flavors is a hit song written as well as performed by Ani DiFranco. The song is from her 1995 album Not a Pretty Girl, which was her sixth studio release. The song was featured in the soundtrack to the Canadian romantic comedy Better Than Chocolate, released in 1999. DiFranco attended Buffalo State College after graduating aged 16 from the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts.
