Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is popular for her portrayal of Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. After that, she acted on Broadway in a variety of shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner made it famous at the National Theatre. The album was released by her too late for Tina the following year. Louise made her debut in Hollywood in God's Little Acre a drama that was released in the year 1958. She played Griselda, a character in the movie. As a student at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying somber, as opposed to the glamour doll image she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she also has made a name for herself as a director who has been successful in various well-known television shows like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 28th August 1965, her family relocated to Toronto when she was three. She spent her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and was there ever for the last ten years.
