Dua Lipa, aka Dua English musician and singer who was born on the 22nd of August 1995, in London United Kingdom. She signed a contract with Warner Bros Records after a few years of working and released a self-titled first album in the year 2017. The album peaked at number three at the U.K. Albums Chart and produced eight singles including Be the One I.D.G.A.F as well as the U.K. number-one track New Rules which peaked at 6th in the United States. The album, which has now been recognized as Platinum in several nations around the globe was awarded the two Brit Awards (in 2018) in the categories of British Female Solo Artist as well as British Breakthrough Artist. Dua Lipa was the daughter of Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London, was born on August 22, 1995. Her maternal grandmother is Bosnian. Additionally, her ancestors are from Peja, which is a Kosovo town of Peja. Two of Lipa's grandfathers were historians. Her siblings are Rina as well as Gjin. Lipa learned to play the guitar and sing with her dad Oda. He is the leader singer/guitarist for the Kosovan-rock band Oda.
